TAFISA is proud to announce the signing of MoU with Catmosphere Foundation to build a stronger platform for Sport for All activities and programmes.
Launched in 2021, Catmosphere is a foundation created to activate innovative engagement and storytelling around Big Cat Conservation.
Catmosphere is launching its inaugural campaign, Catwalk, this autumn. A free, fun, open-to-all 7km walk or run, Catwalk’s aim is to activate fitness and learning, and in doing so create a community that is not only informed, but also invested, and whose engagement in the support of Big Cat conservation becomes ongoing. The first annual Catwalk takes place on 6th November 2021.

TAFISA is pleased to announce that TAFISA World Walking Day - 24 Hours Around the Globe has received patronage from UNESCO. TAFISA's mission and goal aligns with the objectives of UNESCO in sport and physical education, and its commitments to inclusiveness and accessibility.
UNESCO is the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. It seeks to build peace through international cooperation in Education, the Sciences and Culture. UNESCO's programmes contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals defined in Agenda 2030, adopted by the UN General Assembly in 2015.

TAFISA and UNESCO have been active partners for many years, highlighted by TAFISA’s seats on the Permanent Consultative Council (PCC) and International Committee for Physical Education and Sport (CIGEPS).
